One of my clients – a dynamic and international player in the fund industry – is looking to expand its accounting team with the recruitment of a motivated and detail-driven Fund Accountant.

Job description :
As a Fund Accountant, you will play a key role in the day-to-day financial operations for a portfolio of client entities. Your main duties will include:

Handling general accounting tasks and maintaining accurate financial records

Performing in-depth reviews of cash accounting and monthly/quarterly accruals

Preparing account reconciliations and resolving discrepancies efficiently

Drafting interim and annual financial statements in line with applicable standards

Monitoring bank reconciliations and investigating any unmatched items
-
Ensuring timely delivery of financial reports and supporting audits
-
Collaborating with external stakeholders (auditors, legal advisors) in a professional manner

Supporting team members while managing your own workload autonomously
Profile :
You are someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment, takes initiative, and enjoys working as part of a team. We’re looking for someone who brings:

A solid academic background in accounting, finance or economics

Progress towards a professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, ACA) is a strong plus

2–4 years of relevant experience in fund accounting or a similar role
-
Strong communication skills and a proactive, hands-on approach

The ability to manage responsibilities independently, with a sharp eye for detail

Fluency in English, and any additional language is an asset (German, French, etc.)
